First the random, then the HNT

First – my son is better, thanks for those who have asked about him. He’s been back to school and doing fine, no more fever. 🙂

Second, I haven’t turned on my laptop again since it said that failure warning, I might this weekend, or might just try to get the 2 hour drive out of the way and get to friggin best buy. ugh.

It was all planned that my son and I were going to switch rooms. I have a bigger bedroom, he has more “stuff”, so it seemed perfect. Until he found out sometimes I get spiders in my room. Now he’s afraid to change rooms. I told him he’s slept in my room many times and he never was bothered by it before, but I guess he never thought about it before. I won’t force him to change rooms, but he seriously needs to get rid of some stuff if he stays in his room. I’ll let him decide ultimately what he wants to do. I had such plans for his room, hahaha.

OH YEAH, I was shopping yesterday, grocery shopping and then killing some time, when I decided to go to the fabric center of a store and I found Star Wars fabric on accident! It was on sale $2 a yard, so I bought up all they had left, 6.5 yards. I’m going to attempt to sew curtains for Ian’s room. We can’t find any star wars anything bed spreads, curtains, anything, except online. I don’t do a lot of buying online because I’m working on paying off my credit cards and not using it unless I absolutely have to. But, for less than $14 Ian will have a new curtain set, and there’s even enough left to make a matching pillow case. He will be SO excited. I also had some glow-in-the-dark stars that I got him for when he was a toddler, but I never put up. I decided I will decorate his wall with them to go with the Star Wars
theme he really wants. Even if he stays in his own room and doesn’t change rooms with me, he will still get that all done for his birthday in April. 🙂

This pic was taken a few days ago, me messing with my timer on my camera. My camera batteries are dead and I have no more at this point, and my laptop is acting up, so this is a pic I have on my other computer. At least its recent, hehe….blurry, no make up, bad coloring, but I still like it, ha.
